Martyrdom in the Battle of Siffin

In 657 CE, Uwais fought on the side of Ali ibn Abi Talib against Mu'awiyah Abi Sufyan in the Battle of Siffeen. As reported by Ibn Battuta, Uwais was killed in this battle.
