The structural and functional unit of a human body is a cell.

The cell is the smallest -living identity.

The parts of cell is too smallthan a cell but it can't be live without cell.so it's not a smaller unit.

It's called functional and structural because you can found different structures of cell and the parts in it and it functions almost every thing in the body.

About every major function includes cell.

Answer :

The cell (from Latin cella, meaning "small room") is the basic structural, functional, and biological unit of all known organisms. A cell is the smallest unit of life. Cells are often called the "building blocks of life". The study of cells is called cell biology, cellular biology, or cytology.
