Hello !
______________________________________________________________
the Lilliputian came to Gulliver and said thanks to him foe his kind behavior .
The emperor likes him so much as orders his people to put on a couple of shows for Gulliver . The Lilliputians then performed a show . Like rope dancing cart wheeling etc. Skill at this dance is the main qualification for court positions.
They were jumping on the rope so high as this can be dangerous because accidents may happen. People try to jump too high or miss the rope . The emperor was enjoying that stuff .Sometimes his courtiers creep under a stick he's holding and sometimes they jump over. Gulliver invented a game and showed to emperor .he sets up a raised stage using his handkerchief and a set of sticks.
Emperor thought Gulliver wants to stand up on his legs which was a weird thought The Emperor orders his troops to march between Gulliver's legs in rows of 24 men. Gulliver pants were so tight as the troops of emperor incapable to reach him . Then a contract signed for Gulliver's freedom .
with rules like :
@ Gulliver cant leave Lilliput
@ He cant come to the city without permit of emperor
@ He shall be careful toward the troops
@ He will help in making buildings and walls
@ In two months' time, Gulliver will give the Emperor his calculation of how big the island of Lilliput is

This chapter has described in detail the many diversions performed before the Emperor of Lilliput by those specially trained in this arts from their youth. The most spectacular of those were the rope dancers who performed upon a slender white thread extended. Sometimes candidates aspiring for any office faller vacant also entertained the Emperor to convince him of the suitability of their candidature. Sometimes accidents also occurred. Gulliver also arranged some diversions for the emperor in which His Majesty's troops performed mock skirmishes and showed the best military discipline. The Emperor was much entertained and appreciated Gulliver's contribution. Gulliver's hat which had been lost on the shore of lilliput after he was ship-wreckrd was found and brought to him. gulliver's petition to the emperor for his liberty was finally granted on certain conditions. gulliver agreed and was set free.
