Given :-

  • Length of the Box = 16cm
  • Breadth of the Box = 8cm
  • Height of the Box = 6cm

 \\

To Find :-

  • Surface Area of the Box

 \\

Solution :-

⟹ Surface Area of Box = 2( lb + bh + hl )

⟹ ⠀Surface Area = 2( 16 × 8 + 8 × 6 + 6 × 16 )

⟹ ⠀⠀Surface Area = 2( 128 + 48 + 96 )

⟹ ⠀⠀Surface Area = 2( 128 + 144)

⟹ ⠀⠀Surface Area = 2 × 272

⟹ ⠀⠀Surface Area of Box = 544cm²

Thus, Surface Area of Box = 544cm²

Additional Info :

  • T.S.A of cylinder = 2πrh + 2πr²
  • C.S.A of cone = πrl
  • T.S.A of cone = πrl + πr²
  • C.S.A of cuboid = 2(l + b)h
  • T.S.A of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)
  • C.S.A of cube = 4a²
  • T.S.A of cube = 6a²
  • Surface area of sphere = 4πr²
  • C.S.A of hemisphere = 2πr²
  • T.S.A of hemisphere = 3πr²
