Answer:

Total surface area =  2pie * radius (radius + height )

= 2*22/7*7(7+14)

= 44*21

920 cm square.

\sf{Given}\left\{ {{Radius\;=\;7 \;cm} \atop {\;Height\;=\;14\;cm}} }\right\\ \\ \\ \sf{To\;find:\;\;Surface \;area\;of\;cylinder}\\

Where,

  • π = 22/7
  • SA of cylinder = Surface area of cylinder
  • r = radius
  • h = height

\sf{Required\;formula:}\\ \\ \\\red{\bigstar}\;\underline{\boxed{\sf{Surface\;area\;of\;cylinder\;=\;2\pi r(r+h)}}}\\

Putting the values,

\\ \dashrightarrow\;\sf{SA \;of\;cylinder=2\times \frac{22}{7}\times 7(7+14)}\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\;\sf{SA \;of\;cylinder=2\times \frac{22}{\cancel{7}}\times\cancel{7}\times(21)}\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\;\sf{SA \;of\;cylinder=2\times 22 \times 21}\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\;\sf{SA \;of\;cylinder=44\times 21}\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\;\sf{SA \;of\;cylinder=924\;cm^2}\\

  • ∴ Hence,The Surface area of cylinder is 924 cm².
