Answer:

the given set is {-1,0,1,2,3,4,5}

(notice the -2 and 6 are excluded)

the subset which contain positive factors of 5 is {1,5}

so the complement set would be

{-1,0,2,3,4) which matches with b)

AnswEr:-

Your Answer Is \bf\{3,\ 4,\ 5\}.

ExplanaTion:-

Given:-

  • Roaster form of a set which is,

\bf\small{\{x\ratio\:\: x\:\:is\:\:a\:\:positive\:\:integer\:\:and\:\:2\:is\:less\:than\:x\:is\:less\:than6\}}

To Find:-

  • The tabular form of the set.

So Now,

Let us find out the values of x which satisfy the above conditions that x is a positive integer and 2<x<6.

So The possible values of x are:-

  • 3
  • 4
  • 5
  • 6

Therefore,

The set would be the values of x,

 \tt =  \{2, \: 3, \: 4, \: 5 \}.

So The Required set in the tabular form is {2, 3, 4, 5}.

More Information:-

Some Types Of sets:-

  • Null Set:- Null set or empty set is a set in which no elements are present.

Example:- Set of positive whole numbers greater than 2 and less than 3.

  • Finite Set:- The set which contains finite number of elements is called finite set.

Example:- The set of all vovels in English alphabets.

  • Infinite Set:- The set which contains infinite number of elements is called infinite set.

Example:- The set of all whole numbers.
