Technique of Sarvangasana:
- Sarvangasana is also termed as the shoulder standing yoga pose.
- It facilitates the overall working of the full body.
- It is a culmination of various steps and techniques which are, lying down with head facing upwards.
- Raise the legs in a direction of 90 degree so that they are perpendicular with the body.
- Now increase the inclination and bring the legs towards the head.
- While doing this automatically raise the hips up.
- Now raise the legs in the previous 90 degree position in order to form a standing line.
- Place the hand palms on sides of hips to gather support. With the chin aligned closely to the chest, maintain this position for at least 30 or more seconds and then slowly revert back to the normal posture.
