Hi there,

A customer lead is the professional term used for the  potential customer who has shown interest in the company's product.

This mean that is that customer is approached with the kind of benefits and deals, he can easily become one of the customers of the company. The only thing required to engage him a good sales pitch which will decide if he gives in or gives out.

This customer is also a potential to bring in new customers through word of mouth if his experience with the product is worth it.

I hope the answer is helpful

Thanks for asking.
