Answer:

The Members of Parliament, Lok Sabha are directly elected by the Indian public voting in Single-member districts and the Members of Parliament, Rajya Sabha are elected by the members of all State Legislative Assembly by proportional representation.

Hence Lok Sabha is more powerful as it contains the members who were directly elected by the people and they are considered to be the direct representatives of the State. Thus Lok Sabha, the lower house of the parliament is more powerful and the strongest house than Rajya Sabha i.e. upper house.

Two differences between the two Houses of Parliament - the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha are: Lok Sabha - It has more powers as compared to the Rajya Sabha. Rajya Sabha - It has less power as compared to the Lok Sabha
