Nine gold medals is a poem by david roth which conveys a message of
" true sportsmanship " .
Out of the nine athelets when one falls , the eight others empathichally went back to him and then walked hand in hand to the finishing line .
They not only wanted to win but also to win fairly , so they took this cooperating step .
