In the peom, 'The Seven Ages' Shakespeare analyses life. The entire world is regarded as a stage and all men and women are actors who enact the drama of life. Just as a drama is divided into different acts, similarly man's life is divided into seven different stages. The different stages of man's life are characterised by specific traits.
