The poem, "The Tyger" was written bu William Blake in 1794 which is the representation of the poet's mythological and spiritual understanding. He presents his philosophy of human life, society and spirituality.

The poem shows a conversation of a man with a tiger who questions the tiger about his fierce appearance and his creator. The man is confused by the sight of a tiger at night.

The poet questions the whole concept of existence. He says that if the Creator of the world wants peace, then why does the life cycle exist in which organism is bound to kill the other.
