What is the time period called if today is 2020 AD and years before it was 2020 BC? What is the time between the two Calenders called. ( eg. 10 year = 1 decade )

the two notation system are numerically equivalent "2020 CE, " and AD 2020 each describe the current year "400 BCE and 400 BC and each same year. both notations refer to the gregorian calender ( and it's predecessor, the Julian calender)
