What is the time period of a pendulum?

a) A time taken for a bob to move from its one extreme position to the other position.
b) A time taken by a bob for one complete to and fro motion about the mean position.
c) A time taken by a bob to go from its rest to one extreme position and return to the rest position.

it is b.

It is the time taken to repeat the motion - start from equilibrium position, mean position, go one sid to extreme and then to the other extreme and come back to the mean position.  and it continues again and again.
