The poem Night Rain is written by poet John Pepper Clark.
The poem describes how the rain suddenly falling at night affects the small boy and his brothers and mother. They don't know what's the time going on as there's no watch around.
As the rain falls harder, the mother shifts her bins, bags inside prevention them from getting wet.
The small boy imagines the world in form of owl, and the bats in his dream. When he felt safe, he goes back to sleep again.
