Answer:

How many bricks are used in 1m3? - Quora. If you use size of 19cmx9cmx9cm (8″x4″x4″) then we need 500 no. of bricks. If the size of brick is 22.9cmx11.4cmx7.6cm (9″x4.5″x3″) then we need 391 no. of bricks

Sand = (dry volume of mortar x Sand ratio)/ sum of the ratio,s(proportion)

Grade of mortar = 1:6 (cement : sand)

Class A brick (19 cm x 9 cm x 9 cm)

Volume of brickwork = 1.0 m^3.

Thickness of mortar = 10 mm.

Hence we need 5000 bricks for 10 m^3 area.

Explanation:

The actual size of brick:

Lets suppose

Size of brick =200 mm x 100 mm x 100 mm

Convert in into meters.

0.2 m x 0.1 m x 0.1 m = 0.002 m^3

For 1 m^3 of brick measurement i.e 1 / 0 .002 =  500 Bricks.

We need 500 bricks for 1 m^3.

For 10 m^3:

Brick measurement:

10 / 0.002 = 5000 Bricks

Hence we need 5000 bricks for 10 m^3 area.
