Answer: Flattened at the poles and bulges at the equator.
Explanation:
Generally, the shape of the earth is said to be spherical in shape and children are told so to remember the shape of the earth.
The poles are slightly flattened and the earth from the centre or the equator is slightly bulged outwards.
This bulging and the flattening of poles is due to the gravitational pull from the sun.
The sun has a huge gravitational pull which makes the shape of the earth a bit weird, but the earth's gravitational pull saves itself from merging with the sun.
