Answer:

1) oblate spheroid

2) A globe is a spherical model of Earth, of some other celestial body, or of the celestial sphere.

3) Tropic of Cancer, latitude approximately 23°27′ N of the terrestrial Equator.

4) the Frigid Zone, the Temperate Zone and the Torrid Zone.

5) Parallels of latitude are the circles which are parallels from the equator to the poles whereas the lines of reference running from the North Pole to the South Pole are called meridians of longitude.

6) The torrid zone receives the maximum amount of heat throughout the year because the rays of the sun fall vertcally on this regon. This is located between the tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn in 23 1/2N to 23 1/2 S.

7) As the Earth rotates from the west to the east, those places which lie to the east of Greenwich are ahead than those places which lie to the west of Greenwich. The Earth rotates 1° in four minute.

Therefore, the time in India is 5 hrs and 28 minutes ahead of London (since India is located to the east of Greenwich).

hope it helps : )
