Sun is the ultimate source of energy. Energy realesed by sun (UV rays) our very dangerous for us. if we we will use UV rays directly then it may damage our body. Ozone layer protect us from the sun's direct rays.

Green plants or primary consumers can trap the solar energy. As, they trap that solar energy and make food of that. Sunlight (Solar energy) ia very much essential to us and plants as plants make their food with the help of photosynthesis. Plants also need solar energy for their growth and for the process photosynthesis.
