ASL is assessment of speaking and listening skills. The students learn to prepare, speak and listen during the short speech sessions. They also learn to answer brief questions after the speech.
This enables the students to speak fluently, fearlessly and makes them more confident of their thoughts. ASL could trigger their communication skills for better.
Further, ASL makes one person benefiting from fellow students' speeches. A lot of knowledge is gained. One learns to speak logically and analyze the logic in the others' speeches. One interested in language also learns good vocabulary.
