While you are editing a long document in AbiWord, you may be interested in finding quickly a particular word or group of words. There are two commands for doing this:
the Find command and the Replace command.

The Find command
There are two ways to do this command:

Go to the Edit menu and click on "Find..." ou
Use the keyboard shortcut by clicking on the "Ctrl" and "N" keys simultaneously.



The Replace command is like the Find command but more evolved. This command lets you search for a word or group of words and replace it with another word or group of words. There are likewise two ways to start the Replace command:

Go to the Edit menu and click on "Replace..." ou
Use the keyboard shortcut by pressing the "Ctrl" and "H" keys simultaneously.
