What is the value of 5^2.5 ? Pls explain with steps. Thank you

5×2.5=x
multiplying both side with 10
50×25=10x
1250=10x
x=125

laalhema: Thanks for the answer but i asked for 5 to the power of 2.5.... not 5 multiplied by 2.5 ... is this the same answer ?

5^5/2
That's under root 5^5
That's under root 5*5*5*5*5
We make pairs and get 2 pairs and 1 leftover
That makes
5*5 under root 5
25under root 5 is the answer


I have used the word underroot because I can't find a sign
