Cube on both sides,
(a+1/a)³ = 4³
a³+1/a³ +3(x+1/x) [x×1/x] =64
a³ +1/a³ +3(4) (1)= 64
a³ +1/a³ +12 = 64
a³ +1/a³ = 64-12
a³+1/a³ = 52
