SOLUTION:

we know, cot60° = 1/√3 and cos60° = 1/2

therefore ,

cot 60 +cos60 = 1/√3+1/2

lcm of √3 and 2 = 2√3

1/√3+1/2 = (2 + √3)/2√3

hence, cot 60 +cos60 = (2 + √3)/2√3

ANSWER :

cot 60 +cos60 = (2 + √3)/2√3
