As 3 is the root of the given polynomial then on putting the value of 3 in place of 'X'will give us the equation -
Kx^2 -7x +12=0
On putting the value of 'X' as 3
K(3)^2 -7(3) + 12=0
K(9) -21 +12 =0
9K -9=0
9K=9
K=1
Kx^2 -7x +12=0
On putting the value of 'X' as 3
K(3)^2 -7(3) + 12=0
K(9) -21 +12 =0
9K -9=0
9K=9
K=1
