what is the value of k if the root is 3 of quadratic equation 2 x square - 7 x + 12 = 0​

kx^2 - 7x + 12=0
k(3)^2 - 7(3) + 12=0
9k - 21 + 12=0
9k - 9=0
9k=9
k=1

Therefore the value of k is 1
p(x) = x^2 - 7x +12
