Heya !!!

Given that : (-2) is one zero of the given polynomial.

P(X) = X² + 8X + K

Putting X = -2 in,

P(X) = X² + 8X + K

P(-2) = (-2)² + 8 × -2 + K

=> 4 - 16 + K = 0

=> K - 12 = 0

=> K = 12

P(x) = x² + 8x + k

P(-2)

=> (-2)² + 8(-2) + k = 0

=> 4 - 16 + k = 0

=> -12 + k = 0

=> k = 12
