It is a commercial unit of Electrical energy consumed in a circuit.

1 kilo-watt hour(kWh) :- 1 kilo-watt hour is the electrical energy consumed in an electric circuit of power 1kilowatt for 1 hour.

(Edited) :- 1kWh = 1kW×1hour = 1000W×3600second = 3600000Joule or 3.6×10^6Joule

BANTAI0RISHU: it is not correct
aryanvns: 1kWh = 1kW×1hour = 1000W×3600second = 3600000Joule or 3.6×10^6Joule
aryanvns: sorry I have not seen the question first time with properly.
BANTAI0RISHU: thank s

One kilowatt-hour is equal to 3600000 joules:

1kWh = 3600000J

= 3.6⋅106J = 3.6MJ.

So the energy in joules E(J) is equal to 3600000 times the energy in kilowatt-hour

E(kWh): E(J) = 3600000 ⋅ E(kWh)
