Answer:

25

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : 24,25,26,x+2,x+3,30,33,37

           The median of the data is 27.5

To Find : Value of x

Solution:

Median of the data is the mid value

24,25,26,x+2,x+3,30,33,37

Mid values are x+2,x+3

Since there are two mid value .So, to find median we will find the average .

\frac{x+2+x+3}{2}

Since we are given that the median of data 24,25,26,x+2,x+3,30,33,37 is 27.5

So, 27.5=\frac{x+2+x+3}{2}

27.5=\frac{2x+5}{2}

27.5\times 2=2x+5

55=2x+5

50=2x

x=25

Hence the value of x is 25
