Here is your answer :-

Given y = 6

➡ 2x + 3y = 36

Put the value of y in equation,

➡ 2x + 3(6) = 36

➡ 2x + 18 = 36

➡ 2x = 36 - 18

➡ 2x = 18

➡ x = 18/2

➡ x = 9

Answer :- x = 9

Hope it will help you !!!

==》2x + 18 = 36

==》2x = 36 - 18

==》2x = 18

==》x = 9

Hence , the value of " x " is = 9

Prove :-
