I am denoting 'lambda' by ¥.

4 - 3(x1)^2 - ¥ = 0........equation 1.

Now, from second equation,

2 - ¥ = 0

¥ = 2...●

Now, we put the value of ¥ in equation 1.........

4 - 3(x1)^2 - 2 = 0

2 - 3(x1)^2 = 0

3(x1)^2 = 2

(x1)^2 = 2/3

x1 = √(2/3)....●

Thus value of x1 = √(2/3)..●

Hope it was helpful.

Aiswarya14: Buddy....in the equation it is X1^2 ( x1 square) is given. so what is the value of x1 ?
