mass of carbon monoxide, CO , m = 2.8g

molar mass of CO = 12 + 16 = 28g/mol

so, number of mole of CO , n = 2.8/28 = 0.1

temperature , T = 27°C = 27 + 273 = 300K

pressure , P = 0.0821 atm

we know, R is universal gas constant and value of R = 0.0821 atm.lit/mol.K

using formula,

PV = nRT

or, 0.0821 atm × V = 0.1 mol × 0.0821 atm.lit/mol.K × 300

or, V = 30 Litres .

hence, volume of carbon monoxide is 30 Litres.
