Given:

The radius of the cylinder = 2r

Height of the cylinder = 3h

To find:

The volume of the cylinder.

Solution:

If the radius of the cylinder is r and height is h then the volume of the cylinder =

\pi {r}^{2} h

Therefore the volume of the cylinder with radius 2r cm and height 3h cm will be:

\pi {(2r)}^{2} (3h)

 = 12\pi {r}^{2} h \:  {cm}^{3}

Therefore the volume of the cylinder is

12\pi {r}^{2} h \:  {cm}^{3}
