work done by a satellite is 0 because it revolves at 90 degree

hey friend,
we know that work done on any object depends on force (F), displacement(S) and angle between force and displacement..
so here in case of moving satellite around the earth force due to gravity is perpendicular to the displacement of the satellite so when force and displacement are at 90°(or perpendicular ) so net work done is zero.
|=)) work done = FS
we can also say that satellite has no any displacement towards the force .
so Net work done by satellite is zero.
