1) 60°+40°+x = 180° (∵Sum of the angles of the triangle are 180°)

=> x = 180° - (60°+40°)

= 180° - 100°

= 80° (Ans)

2) 110° + y = 180° (∵linear pair)

=> y = 180° - 110°

= 70°(Ans)

3) 105° + 35°+ x = 180° (∵Sum of the angles of the triangle are 180°)

=> x = 180° - (105°+35°)

= 180° - 140°

= 40° (Ans)
