Thrust is the total force acting perpendicular to the surface. The unit of thrust is Newton.
The force acting per unit area is called pressure.

kvnmurty: Force can be acting in any direction at angle on to the surface of an object.
Thrust will be the component of force in the normal direction.
Thrust is also the reaction force (forward) caused by burning exhaust gases at the back of a rocket. Force - in Newtons.

Pressure is the force acting per unit area. It's S.I. unit is, N per m².
The force acting perpendicular to a surface is known as the thrust, and it's S.I. unit is similar to that of the force, i.e., N.
The dimensions of thrust is, MLT⁻²; and that of pressure is, ML⁻¹T⁻².

Thank you.
Hope this will help you.
