What is Time graph? show with Figure
Answers
What is a distance time graph? Distance/ Time graph is really a graph determining the position of an object over a time period. For example, You could have X as a position of a particle/object and T as a time for each position. In a Distance/Time graph each value of T there is usually an X. The difference between the Xs is what we call distance traveled from an initial value of Time another value. This information leads to what is Average Velocity because the line is secant. Thus, finding the derivative of the Distance/Time graph leads to Instantaneous Velocities and differentiating much further( Second Derivative) leads to Instantaneous Accelerations. The reason for the different Y values(X) is due to an acceleration or velocity acting upon the object.
