A large membranous tube reinforced by rings of cartilage , extending from the larynx to the bronchial tubes and conveying air to and from the lungs (or) The Windpipe

Answer:

Our Lungs are attached to the wind pipe called Trachea. which leads to outside through our nostrils. when we inhale air , it first passes through our nostrils into the nasal cavity and from the nasal cavity the air reaches our lungs through the wind pipe which also called Trachea.
