What is triple fusion? Where and how does it take place? Name the nuclei involved in triple fusion.

Bonjuor!!

During pollination, pollen tubes contains two male gametes. One fuses with the egg to form zygote, this is known as syngamy and the other male nucleus fuses with two polar nuclei. This fusion of male gamete with the two polar nuclei is called "TRIPLE FUSION".

It take place inside the ovary in ovisac.

And the nuclei involved in triple fusion are " POLAR NUCLEI".
