IN UNIFORM MOTION
EQUAL DISTANCE IS TRAVELLED IN EQUAL TIME INTERVALS
LIKE FOR EXAMPLE
ROTATION OF THE EARTH ON ITS ORBIT
WHEREAS
IN NON UNIFORM MOTION
UNEQUAL DISTANCES ARE TRAVELLED IN EQUAL TIME INTERVALS
LIKE,FOR EXAMPLE
A CAR MOVING IN TRAFFIC
HOPE IT HELPS☺️☺️

To describe motion we need to classify it as Uniform Motion or Non-Uniform Motion.
A body is said to be have uniform motion if it travels equal distances in equal intervals of time, no matter how small this time intervals baby.
■ The movement of hands of watches.
■ The movement of the Earth about its axis.
■ The movement of earth around the sun.
■ A gas molecules in its uniform motion between collisions.
● A object for a body will have uniform motion if it moves along a straight line in one direction and travels equal distances in equal intervals of time.
● For uniform motion distance travelled by a moving object is directly proportional to the time taken.
A body is said to have non-uniform motion if it travels unequal distances in equal intervals of time, however small these, time intervals maybe.
■ A bus moving on a hilly track.
■ A person jogging on road.
■ A free-falling stone under the action of gravity.
■ When brakes are applied to a speeding car.
■ When an oscillating simple pendulum is left for sometime, the amplitude of its oscillation becomes smaller and smaller and finally oscillations stops.
● In Non-Uniform motion, distance travelled by an object is proportional to the time taken.
