In physics, circular motion is a movement of an object along the circumference of a circle or rotation along a circular path. It can be uniform, with constant angular rate of rotation and constant speed, or non-uniform with a changing rate of rotation.

SOLUTION

When an object moves in a circular track/path with uniform speed, it's motion is called uniform circular motion.

example - if the athlete moves with a velocity of constant magnitude along the circular path the only change in his velocity is due to the change in the direction of the motion.
