Unitary method is a mathematical term which is used to do solve questions for one single unit.

Say for example : we have to find cost of 10g of salt.If the cost of 5g is 60rs.

Cost of 5g of salt = 60rs.
then,
cost of 1g of salt =60/5
=12rs.
so,
cost of 10g of salt = 12*10
=120rs.

Hi Friend

Unitary method is a way to find the answers firstly find the value of single unit and multiply  by required value then.
For Example : if Arlissa can buy 20 oranges with 120 rupees than how many she buy  with 60 rupees ?
used unitary method
Arlissa  can buy  20 oranges with 120 rupees
Arlissa can buy    20/120 oranges  with one rupee
Arlissa can buy    20/120 x 60         with 60  rupees
Arlissa can buy   10 oranges          with  60 rupees.
