A) Fundamental units

B) Standard units


A) Fundamental units :- The units which are independent and which are not be delivered from other units , are defined as fundamental units.
e.g. The unit of mass , length and time.

There are seven fundamental units.

A) unit of mass
B) unit of length
C) unit of time
D) unit of temperature
E) unit of electric current
F) unit of luminous intensity
G) unit of amount of substance

B) standard unit :- The fixed and definite real value of any physical quantity is defined as standard unit.
