Universal adult franchise refers to right to vote.In India all the citizens who are 18 years and above are given right to vote irrespective of their class, caste and race, etc.

Universal adult franchise has been adopted in India because all the powers of India are brought equal opportunity to make a decision.

No person even the Prime minister as decline any persons Right to Vote.

Only lunatic people and prisoners are not given right to vote.
