A mixture is formed by mixing different types of mutations in each other,

which displays different colors relative to the different concentrations of hydrogen ions, it is called universal or omnipresent indicator.

When a universal indicator is added to the acid-alkali solution, a new color is produced. By matching the color present on the pH chart of new color generated by the indicator, the acid can detect the pH and the strength of the base.
