Every partical of matter attract on every other partical of matter with a force which is directly proportional to the product of masses and square of distance between them

Hi mate,

Newton's law of universal gravitation states that every particle attracts every other particle in the universe with a force called gravitation force which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.

Consider two bodies A and B of masses M and m respectively and 'd' is the distance between then centres. Let F be the force by which they mutually attract each other.

F is directly proportional to M and m

F is directly proportional to 1/d^2

By the above 2 equations,

F is directly proportional to Mx m/d^2

since G is a universal gravitational constant,

F = G x M x m/d^2
