Hello Mate!

What is up thrust and buoyant force?

Well, buoyant Force and up thrust are the same things.

A buoyant force is an up thrust or the force against gravity which pushes the object in upward direction.

According to this force the substance either floats or sinks or floats below the surface of water.

Hence upthrust and buoyant force are uded in place of each other and have same meanings.

Have great future ahead!

HEY MATE............

HERE IS UR ANSWER......

Buoyant forces and upthrust are same. They are the forces exerted by a fluid on a body when the body displaces some weight of the fluid. The force of upthrust equals the weight of fluid displaced. Viscous forces are caused by relative motion between the body and a fluid.
