Fertilizers is is any material of natural or synthetic origin  which  is applied to soils or to plant tissues  to supply one or more plant nutrients essential to the growth of plants.
Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium compounds are used in making fertilizers.Nitrogen is used  because it promotes the growth of plants quickly.
Excessive use of fertilizers results in loss in soil fertility  and death of various micro organisms  which help in making soil fertile like earthworms and many other insects.

Earthworm is the only vermicompost organism which decays organic wastes into manures in the soil. The soil may contains any nutrients.based on the nutrients in the soil the manures formed.
