Rate of change of displacement is called velocity .

Velocity = Displacement /Time

Unit = M/s .

Hey mate,

Velocity means displacement of a moving object in the unit time.

Velocity = displacement / time

If velocity of an object is zero, the object is in stationary position.

SI unit of velocity is ms^-1.
