It is an instrument used to measure the things of capacity from 0.01 mm to 15 cm

Explanation:

It is an instrument used to measure the things of capacity from 0.01 mm to 15 cm.

Least count of vernier caliper can be measured by the following steps:

  • Find the main scale division. The main scale division can easily   be obtained by inspecting the main scale.  it is in centimeter by divided into kilometer. The value of the smallest main scale division is 1 mm.
  • Thus, measure the vernier division. The Vernier scale division is obtained by counting a number of divisions in it. In the Vernier scale, there will be 10 divisions.
  • we found the minimum smallest number. divide the smallest number by a total number of vernier scale divisions.
